The exhibition "Technology from the past"

On November 30, an amazing exhibition "Technology from the past" was held at our school. The students were delighted to immerse themselves in the world of fascinating technical innovations of the past decades.
During the exhibition, they got acquainted with the camera of the single-stage photo process "Polaroid 636 Closeup", produced from 1989 to 1999 by the American company Polaroid. The Cyber-shot series camera, announced by Sony in November 2005, was also presented.
An incredible discovery was the Stella telephone, produced in 1981 by the V.I. Lenin VEF production association. The students also learned about the FED-5, a Soviet rangefinder camera produced from 1977 to 1990, and a portable radio receiver "Signal-402", created starting in 1976 at the Kamensk-Ural Instrument-Making Plant. The charm of old technologies completed the introduction to retro technology with a three-program receiver "Electronics PT-209", produced since 1991 at the Gorky Orbita plant, and music cassettes, the production of which was launched by Philips Corporation in 1965.
This exhibition has become for us an amazing journey into the world of curious and interesting technical solutions of the past. We have seen how fast technology is developing, and how amazing it is to look at its history.
